Chesterton, IN-Lake Erie Land Company joins The Enclave, L.L.C. in announcing the official start of the Enclave Apartments at Coffee Creek Center. The apartments are located in the Morgan's Corner section of Coffee Creek, north of the intersection of 1050 N. and Dickinson Road.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at the Coffee Creek Center Pavilion Friday, May 11, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. The Enclave will consist of 19 buildings that include 192 one-bedroom and two-bedroom upscale units. The units are estimated for completion sometime within the next two to three years. "It's an important project to us for a variety of reasons," said LEL Director of Land Development, Kevin Warren. He noted the fact that it is one of Chesterton's first new apartment projects, and as such, addresses housing for an important segment of the community. "There are so few project's that actually help the residents become a part of the community rather than being isolated from it." Additional aspects of the Enclave site plan include landscape and stormwater management features that bring native plants to the site and help infiltrate stormwater runoff in more natural ways.
